It is noon. I see the doors of the Church are open, I need to enterMary, Mother of Jesus Christ,
I have nothing to offer and no requests,
Paul Claudel, The Virgin at Noon
Mary, Mother of God, keep within me a child-like heart,
Pure and transparent as its source.
A simple heart, which doesn’t lavish on sadness,
A magnanimous heart, tender in compassion,
A faithful generous heart, that does not forget any benefit, holding no grudges
Fashion a kind heart, loving without demanding anything in return,
happy to fade in another heart Before your divine Son.
A great and indomitable heart,
that no amount of ingratitude closes,
unwearied by indifference
A heart tormented by the Glory of Jesus Christ,
Wounded by His love,
and where the wound heals only in Heaven.
Father Léonce de Grandmaison, s.j. 1868-1927
In your womb, Mary, the Eternal Trinity , aroused a new creation
A humanity, so transparent to God,
that the true face of God was able to be fashioned in it.
Zundel, Marie in Tenderness of God.
Mary, Mother of “yes”,
you listened to Jesus and you know the sound of His voice and of his heartbeat.
Morning star, talk to us about Him and reveal the path of faith that leads to Him.
“May the Spirit give you, in all circumstances, prayer and supplication”.
Like Mary let us be attentive to the presence of the Spirit.
Confide all your needs of peace, gratitude and fraternity to the Spirit.
“Lord, God of Abraham and of the prophets,
god of love who created us and calls us to lives as brothers,
give us, each day, the strength to be peace makers;
Give us to gaze with kindness on all whom we meet on our path.”
“ I come here simply to look at You, I am pleased to look at you ! ”
